Books or movies
This actually depends on person to person. Some prefer watching movies while throwing pop corn into their mouth. While others can fix their eyes onto a book for hours.
Watching movies has it’s own fun. You can just sit in a comfy seat and enjoy the scenes. Your brain doesn’t have to do much to understand the story.
But in the case of reading a book. Constant attention is required. If you don’t understand a line then you have to re-read it to get the story. Reading a book requires more effort than watching a movie. It asks for constant brain functioning.
But there is one big advantage that a book has over a movie. That is the power of imagination.
There is no limit to imagination. You can think of all the characters of a story while reading. Movies limit your imagination.
If you really want to know, what works for you then read a book like Martian and then watch the movie Martian.
Then see which hit you better the beautiful scenes in the movie or your imagination while reading.
I bet it’ll be your imagination
