You are getting outdated
Have you ever noticed that you are far better at using technology as compared to your parents? Most of you would have experienced this feeling of superiority when it comes to technology.
Also, have you noticed that kids these days are far more comfortable at smartphone at a very tender age. My 4 year old brother knows how to click using snapchat filters. He is more efficient at Subway Surf game than myself.
This made me realise that we are getting outdated. Just like our parents are having difficulty with technology, we may well be standing at their place in the next 10 years. The pace at technology is moving forward, it is almost certain that if this generation doesn’t keep up with the trends then it’ll be soon rendered outdated.
Imagine being called outdated in your 30s and asking your newborn how a particular feature works on your smartphone.
Nowadays I think newborns are coming with some technical knowledge pre-installed by god to face this good bad world.
The only way for us to stay relevant a little longer is by keeping our devices away from children. It is not scientifically advisable to give child a smartphone before 15.
But I’ve seen mothers use their smartphones as a silencing device. Whenever the child starts crying, they give them a smartphone and there’s pin drop silence in the room.
Mothers please don’t do this. It has a bad mental impact on your child and even worse impact on our generation’s technical abilities.
Please help us stay relevant a little longer. Keep your smartphones away from those tiny bits and if you don’t then be prepared to take some serious hits.
