The topic of this blog is a dot. There is a reason as to why I selected this topic. A dot has so much meaning into it. It seems so small yet it carries so much meaning.

Many see a dot as a full-stop or the end. While I use dot differently. I use a dot to start a conversation. My closest friends know this, whenever I want to talk to them, I just text a dot. Then they are fierce at me as to what does this dot mean. Does it mean I’m missing them? Or does it mean I’m really angry with them? It actually means different things at different times.

This small dot helps me express myself without actually expressing myself. I’m an introvert. Opening up is difficult for me. So a dot really helps. I express all my emotions in one dot.

My friends usually reply with another dot and then we exchange laughing emojis and there you have a conversation started. That’s all I wanted- A conversation.

A dot is not always a full-stop. It can even be used to start conversations. It can be used to express without actually expressing.

A dot is a world in it’s ownself. It’s like a star in the night sky. If you see it at a glance, it’s almost insignificant. You might even ignore it. But when try to see it through a telescope, you realise that stars like dots are soooo big and meaningful.

So the next time you receive a dot

Don’t ask “What?”

As it means lot

To be put in words and not a dot
