“I don’t have time” (micro-blog)

How often do you say this phrase? Quite often, right? This one phrase has so much meaning into it.

We all hear this line from so many people everyday but did we ever take time to analyse what the other person is trying to say.

I gave it a serious thought and found out what they actually mean when they use this phrase.

They are trying to tell you that it’s not a priority.

Who isn’t busy these days, everyone is. But by using this line you are essentially trying to say that it’s not that important to you. “I don’t have time” is just a decorated way of saying “you are not worth my time”.

So imagine our PM wants to meet you. Will you say I don’t have time. Probably not, as this is worthy enough of being your priority.

I’m not saying that it’s bad to use this phrase. It’s good to take care of your priorities.

Just doing this micro blog so that the next time someone tells you “I don’t have time”. You immediately get to know that it’s not important enough to them.
