Breaks are scam.

Every now and then when on an important task, I take a break when I complete a considerable part of the task. For eg. Doing an assignment, break after 5 questions. I did this as a reward for completing those 5 questions but the problem is I don’t get back to the assignment after the break.

As a result I end the day with just 5 questions done, and regretting for not completing my task. This is with most of us, we take breaks very frequently in the middle of an important task and end up procastinating it all the way to the deadline.

But then what can we do about it? How do we fix this? The answer is pretty simple, don’t take breaks. Try to finish your task in one go when you get started with it. Initially it would feel like a lot of work and make you uncomfortable but with time you’ll make this habit of completing the task on time.

Trust me the feeling you get in doing it in a single shot is a lot bigger then completing it somewhere near the deadline.

Breaks are scam. If it’s important, do it in a single shot.

Once you understand this, your life will change for the better.
