Breathe!! (micro blog)
This is something that most of us forget doing while chasing our goals. We let the expectations of others from us take over us and we keep thinking about it 24*7.
Like how will I do well in the next exams and how do I not let my parents down? These questions can constantly haunt you. This happens to me too. At times I wonder if I’m living upto the faith my parents have in me or not. The answer to this question scares me everytime because I know that whatever I’m doing can be done better.
You need to accept the fact however good you may be, there will always be that better Sharma ji ka ladka/ladki that your parents will compare you with. Once you accept this fact then you are in a much calmer state of mind to deal with life. You feel a lot less pressure.
What this essentially means is that you should not forget to breathe, however high the expectations of people from you may be. Just take a deep breath in and don’t release it back until you realise that you doing just good enough and there’s no need to worry.
I agree there is a fierce race that we all are part of but still your ability to breathe effectively while running is what will determine how to finish the race.
