Emoji vs writing (micro blog)

In my very personal opinion, emojis are useless. Emojis prevent words from coming out.

Or should I say we never knew how to use emojis to communicate effectively. We just kept using them without giving much thought. If it’s a joke then 😂 . If it made you smile then again 😂. If you don’t know what to say next then again 😂.

I am planning to start a petition on change.org to remove all emojis except 😂. It is very much evident that people don’t know how to use emojis.

But emojis in a way substitute words. Words have so much more meaning and most importantly we know how to use words, which is not the case with emojis.

I prefer words over those small icons. Words hit harder than any random emoji.

But here is one emoji that I think should exist forever
