Is government necessary? (micro blog)
Firstly, what is a government?
It is a centralised authority where minority of the power is concentrated.
Now, I used the the words-centralised and concentrated. These words make governments vulnerable.
The point in democracy which runs an entire nation is the parliament. If some country/terrorist organisation wants to paralyse a nation, it’s as simple as bombing the parliament.
I know it’s not easy to bomb the parliament (obviously the security is very tight) but isn’t government a single point which if attacked can put a nation in a state of emergency. The consequences of such an event can make country go through years of turmoil.
So now we know that having “central” government makes us more vulnerable. But then you ask, is there a good alternative where power won’t be centralised.
Yes, there is a technology coming up by the name of “Blockchain” which can help us decentralise almost every centralised institution. Blockchain can help us achieve the true meaning of democracy.
Although Blockchain as a technology is still in its early years. Still it manages to be a ray of hope of a better and decentralised governing system.
Go Google “what is Blockchain?” and read about it.
You’ll be fascinating by the potential this tech has.
It can change our life block by block
